ISO 22829:2017 specifies additional requirements to those given in ISO 5826 for single-phase inverter transformers with connected rectifier for DC welding. This document applies to transformers, primarily used in welding guns, operating at 1 000 Hz with a rated input voltage of 500 V or more.
The requirements of ISO 5826 shall be followed unless amended by this document.

Dieses Dokument legt zusätzliche Anforderungen zu den in ISO 5826 angegebenen Anfor¬de¬rungen an einphasige Invertertransformatoren mit angeschlossenem Gleichrichter für Schwei߬wechsel¬strom fest. Dieses Dokument gilt für Transformatoren, die überwiegend in Schweißzangen, die bei 1 000 Hz mit einer Eingangsspannung von 500 V oder mehr betrieben werden, eingesetzt werden.
Die Anforderungen von ISO 5826 müssen eingehalten werden, solange sie nicht in dem vorliegenden Dokument abgeändert wurden.

This document (EN ISO 22829:2017) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 44 “Welding

and allied processes” in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 121 “Welding and allied

processes” the secretariat of which is held by DIN.

This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an

identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by April 2018, and conflicting national standards shall be

withdrawn at the latest by April 2018.

Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
