Outdoor furniture - Seating and tables for camping, domestic and contract use - Part 2: Mechanical safety requirements and test methods for sampling

This part of EN 581 specifies the mechanical safety requirements and test methods of outdoor seating for camping, domestic and contract use for adults, with the exception of removable upholstery, coverings, permanently fixed seating, street furniture, without regard to materials, design/construction or manufacturing processes. This standard does not apply to outdoor furniture for severe contract use where higher requirements may be necessary.

Der vorliegende Teil der Europa(ischen Vornorm ENV 581 legt die mechanischen sicherheitstechnischen Anforderungen und Pru(fverfahren fu(r Außensitzmo(bel fu(r den Camping-, Wohn- und Objektbereich fu(r Erwachsene fest. Alle Anforderungen wurden unabha(ngig von Werkstoff, Konstruktion und Herstellungs- Prozeß festgelegt. Abnehmbare Polster, Bezu(ge, dauerhaft befestigte Sitzmo(bel und o(ffentlich aufgestellte Mo(bel wie Parkba(nke sind vom Anwendungsbereich dieser Norm ausgeschlossen.

Mobilier d'extérieur - Sieges et tables a usages domestique, collectif et de camping - Partie 2: Exigences et essais de sécurité

La présente partie de l'EN 581 prescrit les méthodes d'essai mécaniques de sécurité ainsi que les spécifications correspondantes des sieges d'exterieurs ` usages domestique, collectif et de camping, ` l'exception des garnissages amovibles, des revetements, des sieges fixés de fa%on permanente et du mobilier urbain. Elle ne tient pas compte des matériaux, de la conception/construction et des procédés de fabrication. Elle ne s'applique pas au mobilier d'extérieur destiné ` des usages collectifs ` fortes contraintes pour lesquels des exigences plus élevées peuvent etre nécessaires.
