Furniture - Assessment of the ignitability of mattresses and upholstered bed bases - Part 2: Ignition source: Match flame equivalent

This standard lays down a test method to assess the ignitability of mattresses, upholstered bed bases or mattress pads, when subjected to a gas flame equivalentto a match flame. Air mattresses and water beds are excluded from this standard.

Dieser Teil der Norm beschreibt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Entzündbarkeitvon Matratzen, gepolsterten Bettböden oder Matratzenauflagen, wenn sie einer einem Streichholz vergleichbaren Gasflamme als Zündquelle ausgesetzt sind. Luftmatratzen und Wasserbetten werden in diesem Teil der Norm nicht behandelt.

Cette partie de la norme décrit une méthode d'essais pour évaluer l'allumabilitédes matelas, sommiers rembourrés ou sur-matelas, lorsqu'ils sont soumis a une s source de flamme de gaz équivalente a la flamme d'une allumette. Les matelas a air et les lits a eau sont exclus de cette partie de la norme.
