This part of IEC 62037 defines a procedure to measure levels of passive intermodulation
generated by a coaxial cable assembly.
This test method is applicable to jumper cables, i.e. cable assemblies intended to provide
interface flexibility between rigid devices. It is also used to evaluate cable assemblies that are
subjected to motion in operation

IEC 62037-2:2021 définit une procédure pour la mesure des niveaux d’intermodulation passive générés par un cordon coaxial. Cette méthode d’essai s’applique aux jarretières, c’est-à-dire aux cordons destinés à fournir une interface flexible entre des dispositifs rigides. Elle est également utilisée pour évaluer des cordons soumis à des mouvements pendant leur fonctionnement. Cette seconde édition annule et remplace la première édition parue en 2012. Cette édition inclut les modifications techniques majeures suivantes par rapport à l’édition précédente:
a. révision des critères d’application des contraintes mécaniques pour être fonction du rayon de courbure du câble annoncé.

Ta del standarda IEC 62037 določa postopek za merjenje ravni pasivne intermodulacije, ki jo proizvede koaksialni kabelski sestav. Ta preskusna metoda se uporablja za povezovalne vode, tj. kabelske sestave, ki so namenjeni zagotavljanju vmesniške prilagodljivosti med togimi napravami. Uporablja se tudi za vrednotenje kabelskih sestavov, ki se med delovanjem premikajo.

wires, waveguides, RF connectors, RF and microwave passive components and accessories” was
submitted to the IEC-CENELEC parallel vote and approved by CENELEC as EN IEC 62037-2:2021.
The following dates are fixed:
• latest date by which the document has to be implemented at national (dop) 2022–09–23
level by publication of an identical national standard or by endorsement
• latest date by which the national standards conflicting with the (dow) 2024–12–23
document have to be withdrawn
This document supersedes EN 62037-2:2013 and all of its amendments and corrigenda (if any).
