This Part 2 of the standard is a complement to Part 1 and specifies, together with it, the mounting, operating and measuring conditions required for the measurement, declaration and verification of noise emitted by different types of spinning preparatory and spinning machines. It is applicable to engineering methods (grade 2) and survey methods (grade 3) defined in the standards referred to. It concerns machines as listed in ISO 2187 for: - opening, cleaning, blending; - wool scouring; - baling; - carding; - tow cutting and stretch breaking; etc.

2. del standarda dopolnjuje 1. del in skupaj z njim določa zahteve za priključitev, delovanje in merjenje, potrebne za merjenje, deklariranje in preverjanje hrupa, ki ga oddajajo različne vrste strojev za pripravo preje in predilnih strojev. Uporablja se za inženirske metode (razred 2) in raziskovalne metode (razred 3), opredeljene v navedenih standardih. Obravnava stroje, ki so navedeni v standardu ISO 2187, za: – odpiranje, čiščenje, spajanje; – čiščenje surove volne; – baliranje; – mikanje; – rezanje prediva ter predenje z raztezanjem in prekinjanjem itd.

This amendment A2 modifies the European Standard EN ISO 9902-2:2001; it was approved by CEN on 7 May 2014.

This document (EN ISO 9902-2:2001/A2:2014) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 72
"Textile machinery and accessories" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 214 “Textile
machinery and accessories” the secretariat of which is held by SNV.
This Amendment to the European Standard EN ISO 9902-2:2001 shall be given the status of a national
standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by December 2014, and
conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by December 2014.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
