Railway applications - Tank wagons - Part 2: Bottom emptying devices for liquid products including vapour return

This European Standard applies to bottom emptying devices on tank wagons used for the carriage of liquid substances of classes 3, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 5.1, 5.2, 6.1, 8 and 9 of RID. This European Standard defines the important dimensions for the emptying connections. Where tank wagons are fitted with bottom vapour return devices, these devices shall comply with this European Standard.

La présente norme européenne s'applique aux dispositifs de vidange par le bas équipant les wagons citernes utilisés pour le transport des matieres liquides des classes 3, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 5.1, 5.2, 6.1, 8 et 9 du RID. Cette norme européenne définit les dimensions essentielles des raccordements de vidange. Lorsque les wagons citernes sont équipés de dispositifs de récupération de vapeur en partie basse, ceux-ci doivent etre conformes a la présente norme européenne.
