29.160.10 - Components for rotating machines

This document applies to carbon brushes for electrical machinery. For the present, it applies only to carbon brushes for commutators and slip-rings in rotating machines. Terms and definitions are relative to the brush construction (references 100’s to 500’s and parts of 900’s) and to the markings when operating on a rotating machine (references 600’s to 800’s). By extension, terms and definitions may be relevant for any kind of sliding electrical contacts for electrical machinery.

IEC 62496-4:2011 covers general information on the subject of Optical Circuit Board (OCB) interfaces. It includes normative references, definitions and rules for creating and interpreting the standard drawings.

IEC 61784-5-15:2010 specifies the installation profiles for CPF 15/1 (MODBUS -TCP) and CPF 15/2 (RTPS).The installation profiles are specified in the annex. This annex is read in conjunction with IEC 61918:2010. This bilingual version (2012-02) corresponds to the monolingual English version, published in 2010-07.
