Dieser Teil der EN 10246 legt die Anforderungen und die Zulässigkeitsklassen für die Magnetpulverprüfung nahtloser und geschweißter ferromagnetischer Stahlrohre zum Nachweis von Oberflächenfehlern fest.  Dieser Teil der EN 10246 ist anwendbar, um Oberflächenunregelmäßigkeiten auf der äußeren Rohroberflächein Teilbereichen oder auf der gesamten Oberfläche, mit Ausnahme der Stirnfläc hen/Stirnflächenanschrägung, nachzuweisen.

La présente partie de la norme européenne doit être utilisée pour la détection des imperfections de surface, sur tout ou partie de la surface des tubes, à l'exception des extrémités coupées d'équerre ou chanfreinées.
