Specification for the installation of LPG systems for habitation purposes in leisure accommodation vehicles and in other road vehicles
This standard specifies the requirements for the installation of liquefied petroleum gas appliances for habitation purposes in leisure accomodation vehicles and other road vehicles. It does not include the installation of LPG appliances to be used for commercial purposes or for boats. It details safety and health requirements on the selection of materials, components and appliances, on design considerations and testing and of the inspection of installations and on the contents of the user's instructions.
Festlegungen für die Installation von Flüssiggasanlagen in bewohnbaren Freizeitfahrzeugen und zu Wohnzwecken in anderen Fahrzeugen
Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen über die Installation von Flüssiggasanlagen in bewohnbaren Freizeitfahrzeugen und für Wohnzwecke in anderen Straßenfahr-zeugen fest. Sie enthält im Einzelnen, unter dem Aspekt der Sicherheit und Gesund-heit, Anforderungen für die Auswahl der Werkstoffe, Bauteile und Geräte bzgl. Bauweise und Dichtheitsprüfung von Flüssiggasinstallationen und den Inhalt der Bedienungsanleitung.
Diese Norm umfasst keine Anlagen, die mittels anderer Gase als Gase der dritten Familie (Flüssiggas) betrieben werden, keine Wasseranschlüsse und keine Strom-versorgung des/der Geräte(s). Tragbare Geräte mit eigener Gasversorgung stellen keinen Teil der Anlage dar und liegen nicht im Anwendungsbereich dieser Norm. Sie umfasst nicht die Installation von Flüssiggasgeräten zu gewerb-lichen Zwecken oder in Booten. Ebenso sind Bauteile der Gasversorgung und Gasgeräte, die sich außerhalb des Fahrzeugs befinden, nicht Gegenstand dieser Norm.

La présente norme européenne spécifie les exigences applicables à l'installation des systèmes fonctionnant aux gaz de pétrole liquéfiés, pour les besoins domestiques, dans les véhicules habitables de loisirs et autres véhicules routiers. Elle spécifie les exigences relatives à la santé et à la sécurité pour le choix des matériaux, composants et appareils d'utilisation, pour la conception, les essais et le contrôle des installations, et pour le contenu des notices destinées aux utilisateurs.
