This Part of EN 868 provides examples of particular requirements for uncoated nonwoven materials of polyolefines suitable for use as packaging of medical devices which are to be terminally sterilized. It introduces no additional requirements to the general requirements of Part 1. As such, the particular requirements in 4.2 to 4.5 can be used to demonstrate compliance with one or more but not all of the requirements of Part 1. The material specified in this Part of the series EN 868 is intended for use in part or complete manufacture of heat sealable pouches, form and fill packs and lidding materials for packs.

Dieser Teil der Normenreihe EN 868 enthält Beispiele von besonderen Anforderungen für unbeschichtete Vliesstoffe aus Polyolefinen, die für die Herstellung von Verpackungen für Medizinprodukte geeignet sind, die in ihrer Endpackung sterilisiert werden sollen. In diesem Teil wurden keine zusätzlichen Anforderungen zu den im Teil 1 enthaltenen allgemeinen Anforderungen aufgenommen. Die besonderen Anforderungen in 4.2 bis 4.5 können verwendet werden, um Überein- stimmung mit einer oder mehreren Anforderungen - aber nicht mit allen Anforderungen - des Teils 1 nachzuweisen.

La présente partie de l'EN 868 propose des exigences particulières s'appliquant aux non tissés à base de polyoléfines, non enduits, pour l'emballage des dispositifs médicaux qui seront stérilisés au stade terminal. Elle n'ajoute pas de nouvelles exigences aux exigences générales énoncées dans la partie 1. Aussi, les exigences particulières de 4.2 à 4.5 peuvent être utilisées pour démontrer la conformité à l'une ou plusieurs des exigences de la partie 1, mais pas à l'ensemble de ces exigences.
