Translation Services - Requirements for translation services (ISO 17100:2015)
ISO 17100:2015 provides requirements for the core processes, resources, and other aspects necessary for the delivery of a quality translation service that meets applicable specifications.
Application of ISO 17100:2015 also provides the means by which a translation service provider (TSP) can demonstrate conformity of specified translation services to ISO 17100:2015 and the capability of its processes and resources to deliver a translation service that will meet the client's and other applicable specifications.
Applicable specifications can include those of the client, of the TSP itself, and of any relevant industry codes, best-practice guides, or legislation.
The use of raw output from machine translation plus post-editing is outside the scope of ISO 17100:2015.
ISO 17100:2015 does not apply to interpreting services.

Diese Internationale Norm legt Anforderungen an die Kernprozesse, Ressourcen und andere Aspekte fest, die für die Bereitstellung einer qualitativ hochwertigen Übersetzungsdienstleistung erforderlich sind, die den anzuwendenden Spezifikationen entspricht.
Die Anwendung dieser Internationalen Norm stellt auch die Mittel bereit, mit denen ein Übersetzungs-dienstleister (ÜDL) die Konformität der spezifizierten Übersetzungsdienstleistungen mit der Norm und die Leistungsfähigkeit seiner Prozesse und Ressourcen für die Bereitstellung einer Übersetzungsdienstleistung nachweisen kann, die den Kundenspezifikationen und anderen anwendbaren Spezifikationen entspricht.
Zu den anwendbaren Spezifikationen können die des Kunden, des ÜDL, einschlägige Branchenstandards sowie Praxisleitfäden oder Rechtsvorschriften gehören.
Die Verwendung von Rohdaten einer maschinellen Übersetzung plus Nachbearbeitung (Posteditieren) fällt nicht unter den Anwendungsbereich dieser Internationalen Norm.
Diese Internationale Norm ist nicht auf Dolmetschdienstleistungen anwendbar.

L'ISO 17100:2015 fournit les exigences relatives aux processus de base, aux ressources et à d'autres aspects nécessaires à une prestation de traduction de qualité répondant aux spécifications applicables.
L'application de l'ISO 17100:2015 fournit également des moyens permettant à un prestataire de services de traduction (PST) de démontrer la conformité des services de traduction spécifiés à l'ISO 17100:2015 et la capacité de ses processus et ressources à fournir un service de traduction répondant aux spécifications du client et aux autres spécifications applicables.
Les spécifications applicables peuvent comprendre celles du client, celles du PST lui-même et celles de tous codes industriels, guides de bonnes pratiques ou réglementations pertinents.
L'utilisation du résultat brut d'une traduction automatique et de sa post-édition ne relève pas du domaine d'application de l'ISO 17100:2015.
L'ISO 17100:2015 ne s'applique pas aux services d'interprétation.

This document (EN ISO 17100:2015) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 37 "Terminology
and other language and content resources".
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by November 2015, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn
at the latest by November 2015.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN 15038:2006.

NACIONALNI UVOD
Standard SIST EN ISO 17100 (sl), Prevajalske storitve – Zahteve za prevajalske storitve (ISO
17100:2015), 2015, ima status slovenskega standarda in je istoveten evropskemu standardu EN ISO
17100 (en), Translation Services – Requirements for translation services (ISO 17100:2015), 2015-05.
NACIONALNI PREDGOVOR
Mednarodno standard ISO 17100:2015 je pripravil tehnični odbor Mednarodne organizacije za
standardizacijo ISO/TC 37 Terminologija in drugi jezikovni viri, vzporedno je standard sprejel Evropski
komite za standardizacijo CEN SS/A07 Prevajanje in tolmačenje. V primeru spora glede besedila
slovenskega prevoda v tem standardu je odločilen izvirni evropski standard v angleškem jeziku. Izdajo
standarda v slovenskem jeziku je sprejel tehnični odbor SIST/TC IDT Informatika, dokumentacija in
splošna terminologija.
Odločitev za izdajo tega standarda je dne 15. maja 2015 sprejel Strokovni svet SIST za splošno
področje.
