This European Standard specifies quality management system requirements, supplementary to those of
EN ISO 9001:2000, for the management of safety in the field of the transport of dangerous goods by road, rail and inland navigation.
Application of this document covers, and is limited to, the range of transport related services that a company claims to provide in compliance with this European Standard.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Forderungen des Qualitätsmanagementsystems fest zur Ergänzung jener in
EN ISO 9001:2000 für die Beförderung gefährlicher Güter auf der Straße, mit der Eisenbahn und auf Binnen-
wasserstraßen unter dem Aspekt der Sicherheit.
Der Anwendungsbereich dieser Norm umfasst und ist begrenzt durch das Angebot der transportbezogenen
Dienstleistungen, die das Unternehmen in Übereinstimmung mit dieser Europäischen Norm zu leisten be-
ansprucht.

Ta evropski standard določa zahteve za sistem vodenja kakovosti, ki dopolnjujejo tiste iz standarda EN ISO 9001:2000, in je namenjen zagotavljanju varnosti na področju prevoza nevarnega blaga po cesti, železnici in celinskih plovnih poteh.
Uporaba tega dokumenta obsega in je omejena na nabor storitev, povezanih s transportom/prevozom, ki jih podjetje nudi v skladu s tem evropskim standardom.

EN 12798:2007 (E) 4 Foreword This document (EN 12798:2007) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 320 “Transport - Logistics and services”, the secretariat of which is held by DS. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by November 2007, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by November 2007. This document supersedes EN 12798:1999.
