Automotive fuels - Unleaded petrol - Requirements and test methods
This European Standard specifies requirements and test methods for marketed and delivered unleaded petrol. It is applicable to unleaded petrol for use in petrol engine vehicles designed to run on unleaded petrol.
NOTE For the purposes of this European Standard, the terms “% (m/m)” and “% (V/V)” are used to represent the mass fraction and the volume fraction respectively.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren für unverbleite Ottokraftstoffe fest, wie sie gehandelt und ausgeliefert werden. Sie gilt für deren Verwendung in Ottomotoren, die für den Betrieb mit unverbleiten Ottokraftstoffen geeignet sind.
ANMERKUNG Für den Zweck dieser Europäischen Norm dürfen die Symbole % (V/V) bzw. % (m/m) verwendet werden, um Volumenanteile in % bzw. Massenanteile in % auszudrücken.

La présente Norme européenne prescrit les exigences et les méthodes d'essai pour l'essence sans plomb
mise sur le marché et livrée. Elle est applicable à l'essence sans plomb destinée aux véhicules à moteur à
essence conçus pour utiliser ce carburant.
NOTE Pour les besoins de la présente Norme européenne, les expressions "% (m/m)" et "% (V/V)" sont utilisées pour
désigner respectivement les fractions massiques et les fractions volumiques.

Standard SIST EN 228 (sl), Goriva za motorna vozila – Neosvinčeni motorni bencini – Zahteve in
preskusne metode, 2008, ima status slovenskega standarda in je enakovreden evropskemu standardu
EN 228 (en), Automotive fuels – Unleaded petrol – Requirements and test methods, 2008.
NACIONALNI PREDGOVOR
Evropski standard EN 228:2008 je pripravil tehnični odbor Evropskega komiteja za standardizacijo
CEN/TC 19 Naftni proizvodi, maziva in sorodni proizvodi, katerega sekretariat je v pristojnosti NEN.
Slovenski standard SIST EN 228:2008 je prevod evropskega standarda EN 228:2008. V primeru spora
glede besedila slovenskega prevoda v tem standardu je odločilen izvirni evropski standard v
angleškem jeziku. Slovensko izdajo standarda je pripravil tehnični odbor SIST/TC NAD Naftni
proizvodi, maziva in sorodni proizvodi.
Odločitev za prevzem tega standarda je 16. junija 2008 sprejel tehnični odbor SIST/TC NAD Naftni
proizvodi, maziva in sorodni proizvodi.
