EN 12979:2002

Automotive LPG-systems - Installation requirements

This European Standard specifies the requirements for the installation of automotive LPG components that comply with prEN 12805 and prEN 12806.
These requirements are to ensure safe operation of such components.
This standard does not cover type approval of a LPG motor vehicle.
NOTE   Type approval requirements are covered in UN/ECE Regulations and EU legislation.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen für den Einbau von Anlagenteilen nach prEN 12805 und prEN 12806 fest.
Diese Anforderungen sollen einen sicheren Betrieb dieser Anlagenteile ermöglichen.
Diese Norm enthält keine Angaben über die Bauartzulassung eines mit Flüssiggas betriebenen Straßenfahrzeugs.
ANMERKUNG   Anforderungen zur Bauartzulassung sind in den UN-/EG-Vorschriften und EG-Richtlinien enthalten.

Véhicules à Gaz de Pétrole Liquéfiés (GPL) - Exigences d'installation

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences relatives à l'installation des composants véhicules GPL automobiles conformes au prEN 12805 et au prEN 12806.
Ces exigences visent à assurer un fonctionnement en toute sécurité de ces composants.
La présente norme ne couvre pas l'homologation d'un véhicule automobile fonctionnant au GPL.
NOTE   Les exigences concernant l'homologation sont couvertes dans les Réglementations UN/CEE ainsi que dans la législation européenne.
