This Technical Specification (CEN/TS) was approved by CEN on 15 December 2014 for provisional application.
The period of validity of this CEN/TS is limited initially to three years. After two years the members of CEN will be requested to submit their
comments, particularly on the question whether the CEN/TS can be converted into a European Standard.
CEN members are required to announce the existence of this CEN/TS in the same way as for an EN and to make the CEN/TS available
promptly at national level in an appropriate form. It is permissible to keep conflicting national standards in force (in parallel to the CEN/TS)
until the final decision about the possible conversion of the CEN/TS into an EN is reached.
CEN members are the national standards bodies of Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia,
Finland, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania,
Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and United
Kingdom.

La présente Spécification technique (CEN/TS) a été adoptée par le CEN le 15 décembre 2014 pour application provisoire.
La période de validité de cette CEN/TS est limitée initialement à trois ans. Après deux ans, les membres du CEN seront invités à soumettre
leurs commentaires, en particulier sur l'éventualité de la conversion de la CEN/TS en Norme européenne.
Il est demandé aux membres du CEN d'annoncer l'existence de cette CEN/TS de la même façon que pour une EN et de rendre cette
CEN/TS rapidement disponible. Il est admis de maintenir (en parallèle avec la CEN/TS) des normes nationales en contradiction avec la

Diese Technische Spezifikation (CEN/TS) wurde vom CEN am 15. Dezember 2014 als eine künftige Norm zur vorläufigen Anwendung
angenommen.
Die Gültigkeitsdauer dieser CEN/TS ist zunächst auf drei Jahre begrenzt. Nach zwei Jahren werden die Mitglieder des CEN gebeten, ihre
Stellungnahmen abzugeben, insbesondere über die Frage, ob die CEN/TS in eine Europäische Norm umgewandelt werden kann.
Die CEN Mitglieder sind verpflichtet, das Vorhandensein dieser CEN/TS in der gleichen Weise wie bei einer EN anzukündigen und die
CEN/TS verfügbar zu machen. Es ist zulässig, entgegenstehende nationale Normen bis zur Entscheidung über eine mögliche Umwandlung
der CEN/TS in eine EN (parallel zur CEN/TS) beizubehalten.

This document (CEN/TS 16769:2015) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 286 “Liquefied
petroleum gas equipment and accessories”, the secretariat of which is held by NSAI.

Each term is made up in the following format in the document in Clause 2:
1) the term number;
2) the term as it appears in the main text of the Technical Specification;
3) the definition of the term without using the term in one sentence without normative requirements;
4) a "Note 1 to entry:" A note is allowed for explanation where required;
5) the status of the definition with regard to its original use in previously published Standards [between
brackets].
