Safety of laser products - Particular Requirements for Consumer Laser Products

This document specifies the requirements for laser products intended for consumers. The scope of this document does not include products intended for professional use (non-consumer laser products) and restrictions as specified in this standard do not apply to non-consumer laser products. For non-consumer laser products, compliance with EN 60825 1 is sufficient to achieve the necessary level of safety. Electric Toys containing lasers, which are covered by EN 62115, are excluded from the scope of this document. Class 1C consumer laser products are not in the scope of this document. For example, cosmetic and beauty care Class 1C laser products are covered by FprEN 60335 2 113.

Le présent document spécifie les exigences relatives aux appareils à laser destinés au grand public. Le domaine d'application du présent document ne comprend pas les appareils destinés à un usage professionnel (appareils à laser non destinés au grand public) et des restrictions telles que spécifiées dans la présente norme ne s'appliquent pas aux appareils à laser non destinés au grand public S'agissant des appareils à laser non destinés au grand public, la conformité à l'EN 60825 1 est suffisante pour atteindre le niveau nécessaire de sécurité. Les jouets électriques comportant des lasers, qui sont couverts par l’EN 62115, sont exclus du domaine d’application du présent document. Les appareils à laser de Classe 1C destinés au grand public ne relèvent pas du domaine d'application du présent document. Par exemple, les appareils à laser de Classe 1C destinés aux soins cosmétiques et esthétiques sont couverts par le FprEN 60335 2 113.

Varnost laserskih izdelkov - Posebne zahteve za laserske izdelke, namenjene potrošniku

Ta dokument podaja definicije in določa posebne zahteve za potrošniške izdelke, ki vsebujejo laserje. Cilj tega dokumenta je zagotoviti varnost laserskih izdelkov, ki so na voljo potrošnikom. Ta dokument določa zahteve, ki dopolnjujejo zahteve v standardu EN 60825-1. Vključeni so laserski izdelki, namenjeni potrošniku, ki se napajajo prek baterije, in tudi laserski izdelki, namenjeni potrošniku, ki se napajajo na druge načine. Zahteve tega dokumenta se navezujejo samo na nevarnosti laserskega sevanja za oči in kožo. Druge nevarnosti ne spadajo na področje uporabe tega dokumenta. Skladnost s tem dokumentom morda ne zadostuje za skladnost z veljavnimi zahtevami glede delovanja in preskušanja drugih veljavnih standardov o varnosti izdelkov. Področje uporabe tega dokumenta ne vključuje laserskih izdelkov, namenjenih potrošniku, ki so zasnovani za projiciranje laserskega sevanja v območju valovne dolžine od 380 nm do 780 nm na mrežnico, s predvidenim trajanjem dnevne uporabe potencialno več ur (na primer za aplikacije navidezne ali obogatene resničnosti), ker trenutno ni mogoče zagotoviti mejnih vrednosti sevanja, ki bi izključevale morebitne škodljive učinke celodnevne uporabe, dan za dnem. Področje uporabe tega dokumenta ne vključuje izdelkov, namenjenih za profesionalno uporabo (profesionalni laserski izdelki, ki niso namenjeni potrošniku), in omejitve, določene v tem dokumentu, ne veljajo za laserske izdelke, ki niso namenjeni potrošniku. Za doseganje potrebne ravni varnosti laserskih izdelkov, ki niso namenjeni potrošniku, zadostuje skladnost s standardom EN 60825-1. Ta dokument določa tudi podskupine laserjev, ki so dovoljeni kot potrošniški izdelki. Omejena skupina laserskih izdelkov razreda 3R je vključena.
