Welding - General tolerances for welded constructions - Dimensions for lengths and angles - Shape and position (ISO 13920:2023)

Specifies general tolerances for linear and angular dimensions and for shape and position of welded structures in four classes, these being based on customary workshop accuracy. The main criterion for the selection of a particular class should be the functional requirements.

Dieses Dokument legt Allgemeintoleranzen für Längen- und Winkelmaße sowie für Form und Lage an Schweiß
konstruktionen in vier Toleranzklassen fest, die auf werkstattüblichen Genauigkeiten basieren. Das
kriterium für die Auswahl einer bestimmten Toleranzklasse sollte sich auf die einzuhaltenden funktionellen Anforderungen beziehen.
Die anzuwendenden Toleranzen/Grenzabmaße sind in jedem Fall diejenigen, die in der Zeichnung angegeben sind. Statt einzelne Toleranzen/Grenzabmaße festzulegen, können die Toleranzklassen nach diesem Dokument angewendet werden.
Allgemeintoleranzen für Längen- und Winkelmaße sowie Form und Lage, wie sie in diesem Dokument festge
legt sind, gelten für Schweißteile, Schweißgruppen, geschweißte Bauteile usw.
Besondere Bedingungen können für komplexe Bauteile notwendig sein.
Die Festlegungen in diesem Dokument basieren auf dem Unabhängigkeitsprinzip, das in ISO8015 festgelegt ist. Danach sind die Maß-Grenzabweichungen und geometrischen Toleranzen unabhängig voneinander anzu
wenden.
Fertigungsunterlagen, die Längen- oder Winkelmaße oder Angaben für Form und Lage ohne einzeln eingetra
gene Toleranzen/Grenzabmaße enthalten, sind als unvollständig anzusehen, wenn sie keinen oder nur einen unvollständigen Bezug auf die Allgemeintoleranzen haben. Dieses ist nicht für zeitweilige Zwischenmaße
wenden.

La présente norme internationale spécifie quatre classes de tolérances générales relatives aux dimensions linéaires et angulaires ainsi qu'à la forme et à la position des structures soudées, ces classes étant basées sur la précision courante des ateliers. Il est recommandé que le principal critère de choix d'une classe de tolérance particulière soit fondé sur les exigences fonctionnelles qui doivent être satisfaites. Les tolérances applicables sont toujours celles qui sont indiquées sur le dessin. Les classes de tolérances mentionnées dans la présente norme internationale peuvent être utilisées à la place de tolérances spécifiées individuellement. Les tolérances générales relatives aux dimensions linéaires et angulaires ainsi qu'à la forme et à la position spécifiées dans la présente norme internationale s'appliquent aux assemblages soudés et aux structures soudées, etc. Des dispositions spéciales peuvent être nécessaires pour les structures complexes. Les spécifications présentées dans la présente norme internationale sont fondées sur le principe d'indépendance spécifié dans l'ISO 8015, d'après lequel les tolérances dimensionnelles et géométriques s'appliquent indépendamment les unes des autres. La documentation de fabrication dans laquelle les dimensions linéaires et angulaires ou des indications concernant la forme et la position sont présentées sans que les tolérances soient indiquées individuellement doit être considérée comme incomplète s'il n'est 167 pas fait référence (ou s'il est fait référence de manière inadéquate) aux tolérances générales. Ceci ne s'applique pas aux dimensions provisoires.

Določa splošne tolerance za linearne in kotne mere ter obliko in položaj varjenih konstrukcij v štirih razredih, ki temeljijo na običajni natančnosti delavnic. Glavni kriterij za izbiro določenega razreda naj bodo funkcionalne zahteve.

This document (EN ISO 13920:2023) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 44 "Welding
and allied processes" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 121 “Welding and allied
processes” the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by December 2023, and conflicting national standards
shall be withdrawn at the latest by December 2023.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
