Agricultural and forestry machinery - Environmental requirements for sprayers - Part 1: General (ISO 16119-1:2013)

ISO 16119-1:2013 specifies general requirements for the design and performance of sprayers, as defined in ISO 5681, with regard to minimizing the potential risk of environmental contamination during use, including misuse foreseeable by the manufacturer. It also specifies the requirements for identification of the sprayer and certain of its components, and the minimum content of the instruction handbook.
It is intended to be used with each of the other parts of ISO 16119, which give requirements specific to particular types of sprayers (see Annex A). ISO 16119-1:2013 is applicable to all types of sprayers used in agriculture, horticulture, forestry and other areas, except knapsack sprayers. It does not cover safety aspects (see ISO 4254-6).
NOTE          Knapsack sprayers are covered by ISO 19932, which deals with safety as well as environmental aspects.
ISO 16119-1:2013 is not applicable to sprayers manufactured before the date of its publication.

Dieser Teil von ISO 16119 legt allgemeine Anforderungen in Bezug auf die Gestaltung und das Leistungsvermögen von Pflanzenschutzgeräten (wie in ISO 5681 definiert) fest, um mögliche Umweltgefährdungen während der Verwendung einschließlich einer vom Hersteller vorhersehbaren Fehlanwendung zu minimieren. Er enthält außerdem Anforderungen an die Kennzeichnung von Pflanzenschutzgeräten und einzelnen Bauteilen und legt den Mindestinhalt der Betriebsanleitung fest.
Dieser Teil ist in Verbindung mit einem anderen Teil von ISO 16119 anzuwenden, der die Bauart-bezogenen Anforderungen für Pflanzenschutzgeräte festlegt (siehe Anhang A). Dieser Teil von ISO 16119 gilt für alle Bauarten von Pflanzenschutzgeräten, die in der Landwirtschaft, dem Gartenbau oder anderen Bereichen eingesetzt werden, mit Ausnahme von Rückentragbaren Geräten. Er behandelt keine Sicherheitsaspekte (siehe ISO 4254-6).

L'ISO 16119-1:2013 spécifie les exigences générales pour la conception et les performances des pulvérisateurs, tels que définis dans l'ISO 5681, avec l'objectif de réduire le risque potentiel de contamination de l'environnement lors de leur utilisation, y compris lors d'une mauvaise utilisation raisonnablement prévisible par le fabricant. En outre, elle définit les exigences pour l'identification du pulvérisateur ainsi que certains de ses composants et le contenu minimal de la notice d'instructions.
Elle est prévue pour être utilisée conjointement avec les autres parties de l'ISO 16119, qui donnent les exigences spécifiques pour les différents types de pulvérisateurs. L'ISO 16119-1:2013 est applicable à tous les types de pulvérisateurs  utilisés dans l'agriculture, l'horticulture, la sylviculture et d'autres domaines, à l'exception des pulvérisateurs à dos. Ta del standarda ISO 16119 določa splošne zahteve za projektiranje in lastnosti škropilnic, kot je opredeljeno v standardu ISO 5681, pri čemer si je treba prizadevati za čim manjše tveganje okoljskega onesnaženja med uporabo, vključno s predvideno nepravilno uporabo. Določa tudi zahteve za identifikacijo škropilnice in nekaterih njenih sestavnih delov ter za minimalno potrebno vsebino za navodila za uporabo. EN ISO 16119-1:2013 - "Agricultural and forestry machinery - Environmental requirements for sprayers - Part 1: General" sets out the general environmental design and performance requirements for sprayers used in agriculture, horticulture, forestry and related areas. This document (EN ISO 16119-1:2013) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 144 “Tractors
and machinery for agriculture and forestry", the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR, in collaboration with
Technical Committee ISO/TC 23 "Tractors and machinery for agriculture and forestry".
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by September 2013, and conflicting national standards shall be
withdrawn at the latest by September 2013.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN 12761-1:2001.

New Approach Directive 2009/127/EC amending 2006/42/EC.
Once this standard is cited in the Official Journal of the European Union under that Directive and has been
implemented as a national standard in at least one Member State, compliance with the normative clauses of
this standard confers, within the limits of the scope of this standard, a presumption of conformity with the
