Geometrical Product Specifications (GPS) - Dimensional and geometrical tolerances for moulded parts - Part 3: General dimensional and geometrical tolerances and machining allowances for castings (ISO 8062-3:2007)

ISO 8062-3:2007 specifies general dimensional and geometrical tolerances, as well as machining allowance grades, for castings as delivered to the purchaser in accordance with ISO 8062-2. It is applicable for the tolerancing of dimensions and geometry, and required machining allowance of castings in all cast metals and their alloys produced by various casting manufacturing processes.
ISO 8062-3:2007 applies to both general dimensional and general geometrical tolerances, unless otherwise specified.
The dimensional tolerances covered by ISO 8062-3:2007 are tolerances for linear dimensions.
The geometrical tolerances covered by ISO 8062-3:2007 are:
       tolerances for straightness,
       flatness,
       roundness,
       parallelism,
       perpendicularity,
       symmetry, and
       coaxiality.
ISO 8062-3:2007 can be used for the selection of tolerance values for individual indications.

Dieser Teil der ISO 8062 legt allgemeine Maß-, Form- und Lagetoleranzen sowie Grade für Bearbeitungs¬zugaben für Gussstücke im Lieferzustand fest, die dem Käufer nach ISO 8062 2 geliefert werden. Sie ist anwendbar für die Maß-, Form- und Lagetolerierung und erforderliche Bearbeitungszugabe von nach verschiedenen Fertigungsverfahren hergestellten Gussstücken aus allen metallischen Werkstoffen und deren Legierungen.
Dieser Teil der ISO 8062 gilt sowohl für (im oder nahe am Zeichnungsschriftfeld der Zeichnung) angegebene allgemeine Maß-, Form- und Lagetoleranzen als auch für (direkt in der Zeichnung angegebene) individuelle Toleranzen und wo besonders in der Zeichnung auf Hinweise von Abschnitt 9 Bezug genommen wird, falls nichts anderes festgelegt ist.
Die in diesem Teil der ISO 8062 enthaltenen Maßtoleranzen sind Toleranzen für Längenmaße.
Die in diesem Teil der ISO 8062 enthaltenen Form- und Lagetoleranzen sind
   Geradheitstoleranzen,
   Ebenheitstoleranzen,
   Rundheitstoleranzen,
   Parallelitätstoleranzen,
   Rechtwinkligkeitstoleranzen,
   Symmetrie- und
   Koaxialitätstoleranzen.
Dieser Teil der ISO 8062 kann für die Auswahl von individuellen Toleranzwerten angewendet werden.
ANMERKUNG   Dieser Teil der ISO 8062 gilt nicht für 3D-CAD-Modelle ohne Angabe von Maßen.

L'ISO 8062-3:2007 spécifie des classes de tolérances dimensionnelles et géométriques générales ainsi que des classes de surépaisseurs d'usinage pour les pièces moulées telles qu'elles sont livrées à l'acheteur, conformément à l'ISO 8062-2. Elle s'applique au tolérancement des dimensions et de la géométrie, et aux surépaisseurs d'usinage, des pièces moulées en tous métaux et leurs alliages, produites par différents procédés de fabrication par moulage.
L'ISO 8062-3:2007 s'applique à la fois aux tolérances dimensionnelles et géométriques générales, sauf spécification contraire.
Les tolérances dimensionnelles couvertes par l'ISO 8062-3:2007 sont les tolérances pour des dimensions linéaires.
Les tolérances géométriques couvertes par l'ISO 8062-3:2007 sont les tolérances pour:
la rectitude,
la planéité,
la circularité,
le parallélisme,
la perpendicularité,
la symétrie, et
la coaxialité.
L'ISO 8062-3:2007 peut être utilisée pour le choix des valeurs pour des tolérances particulières.

This document (EN ISO 8062-3:2007) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 213
"Dimensional and geometrical product specifications and verification" in collaboration with Technical
Committee CEN/TC 190 "Foundry technology", the secretariat of which is held by DIN.

This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of
an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by December 2007, and conflicting national
standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by December 2007.

According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of
the following countries are bound to implement this European Standard: Austria, Belgium,
