Ride-on, motorized vehicles intended for the transportation of persons and not intended for use on public roads - Single-track two-wheel motor vehicles - Safety requirements and test methods

This European Standard specifies the safety requirements and the test methods for single-track two-wheel motor vehicles, driven by a rider sitting astride. This European Standard deals with all significant hazards, hazardous situations and events relevant to single-track two-wheel motor vehicles propelled by a spark ignited internal combustion engine (hereinafter referred to as "vehicles"), when they are used as intended and under the conditions of misuse which are reasonably foreseeable by the manufacturer.
The vehicles covered by this European Standard are not intended to be used on public roads.
The vehicles covered by this European Standard are intended only for the rider and not for passengers.
This European Standard does not cover vehicles propelled with gaseous fuels.
This European Standard specifies the appropriate measures to eliminate or reduce the risks arising from the significant hazards, hazardous situations and events (see Clause 4) during commissioning, operation and maintenance of the vehicles when carried out in accordance with the specifications as intended by the manufacturer.
This European Standard is not applicable to vehicles which are manufactured before the date of publication of this European Standard by CEN.

Motorisierte (ride-on) Fahrzeuge ohne Zulassung für den öffentlichen Straßenverkehr, bestimmt für den Transport von Personen - Einspurige zweirädrige Kraftfahrzeuge - Sicherheitstechnische Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren

Diese Europäische Norm legt die sicherheitstechnischen Anforderungen an und Prüfverfahren für einspurige zweirädrige Kraftfahrzeuge fest, die von einem Fahrer rittlings gefahren werden. Die vorliegende Europäische Norm behandelt alle signifikanten Gefährdungen, Gefahrsituationen und Gefährdungsereignisse in Verbindung mit einspurigen zweirädrigen Kraftfahrzeugen, die von einem eingebauten Verbrennungsmotor mit Funkenzündung angetrieben werden (nachfolgend als „Fahrzeuge“ bezeichnet), bei bestimmungsgemäßem Gebrauch und bei Missbrauchsbedingungen, die der Hersteller unter realistischen Bedingungen vorhersehen kann.
Die in dieser Europäischen Norm behandelten Fahrzeuge sind nicht für den öffentlichen Straßenverkehr vorgesehen.
Die in dieser Europäischen Norm behandelten Fahrzeuge sind nur für den Fahrer und nicht für Fahrgäste vorgesehen.
Diese Europäische Norm behandelt keine Fahrzeuge, die mit gasförmigen Brennstoffen angetrieben werden.
Diese Europäische Norm legt die geeigneten Maßnahmen zur Vermeidung oder Verringerung von Risiken fest, die hervorgerufen werden können durch Gefährdungen, Gefahrsituationen und Gefährdungsereignisse (siehe Abschnitt 4) während der Inbetriebnahme, des Betriebs und der Wartung der Fahrzeuge nach Festlegungen des Herstellers.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für Fahrzeuge, die vor dem Datum der Veröffentlichung dieser Europäischen Norm durch CEN hergestellt wurden.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences de sécurité et les méthodes d'essai applicables aux
véhicules motorisés à deux roues monotraces, pilotés par un conducteur assis à califourchon. La présente
Norme européenne traite de tous les phénomènes dangereux, situations et événements dangereux
significatifs concernant les véhicules motorisés à deux roues monotraces mus par un moteur à combustion
interne à allumage par étincelle (ci-après désignés « véhicules »), lorsqu'ils sont utilisés de manière
appropriée et dans les conditions d'usage abusif raisonnablement prévisibles par le fabricant.
Les véhicules couverts par la présente Norme européenne ne sont pas destinés à être utilisés sur la voie
publique.
Les véhicules objet de la présente Norme européenne sont destinés uniquement aux conducteurs et non aux
passagers.
La présente Norme européenne ne traite pas des véhicules dont les moteurs sont alimentés par des
combustibles gazeux.
La présente Norme européenne spécifie les mesures nécessaires à l'élimination ou à la réduction des risques
résultant des phénomènes dangereux, situations et événements dangereux significatifs (voir Article 4) lors de
la mise en service, du fonctionnement et de la maintenance des véhicules lorsque ces opérations sont
réalisées conformément aux spécifications, comme prévu par le fabricant.
La présente Norme européenne ne s'applique pas aux véhicules fabriqués avant la date de publication de la
présente Norme européenne par le CEN.

Ta evropski standard določa varnostne zahteve in preskusne metode za enosledna dvokolesna motorizirana vozila, na katerih voznik sedi. Ta evropski standard obravnava vse pomembne nevarnosti, nevarne razmere in dogodke v zvezi z enoslednimi dvokolesnimi motoriziranimi vozili, ki jih poganjajo motorji z notranjim izgorevanjem na prisilni vžig (v nadaljevanju: »vozila«), kadar se uporabljajo v skladu z svojim namenom in pod pogoji pričakovane nepravilne uporabe, ki jih določa proizvajalec. Vozila, vključena v ta evropski standard, niso namenjena za uporabo na javnih cestah. Vozila, vključena v ta evropski standard, so namenjena le za voznika, brez sopotnika. Ta evropski standard ne zajema vozil na plinasta goriva.
