Diese Internationale Norm legt ein Verfahren zur konventionellen Bestimmung der nichtflüchtigen Anteile von flüssigen Phenolharzen (Resolen, Novolak-Lösungen usw.) fest. Sie kann für die käuflichen Marktprodukte oder die Harze während der verschiedenen Stadien ihrer Verarbeitung verwendet werden. ANMERKUNG 1: Der Begriff "nichtflüchtige Anteile" bezieht sich bei Phenolharzen auf bestimmte definierte Versuchsbedingungen (siehe 4.2, Anmerkung 1). Die nach diesem Verfahren erzielten Ergebnisse können von denen bei der industriellen Anwendung der Harze abweichen.

Foreword
ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide

International Standard ISO 8618 was prepared by Technical Committee
lSO/TC 61, Plastics, Subcommittee SC 12, Thermosetting materjak.
This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition (ISO 8618:1987)
which has been revised to include an air circulation oven as an alternative
to the static convection oven.
Annex A forms an integral part of this International Standard.
