Identification of cores in cables and flexible cords

This Harmonization Document applies to the identification of cores of rigid and flexible cables and cords for which the rated voltage does not exceed the upper limit of Voltage Band II (according to HD 193). This HD applies to: - electrical installations, - distribution systems, - supplies to fixed or mobile current-using equipment and - cords for portable equipment. NOTE For distribution systems, the identification by numbers is permitted. This HD is not intended to apply to: - cables or insulated conductors used in the internal wiring of current-using equipment or factory built assemblies manufactured according to their own European Standards, or - cables and cords used in d.c applications, or - cables and cords having more cores than the number indicated in Tables 1 and 2, or - circuits intended for uses other than solely the supply of power to equipment, or - covered overhead lines and insulated overhead conductors according to HD 626.

Ta harmonizacijski dokument se uporablja za označevanje žil v nepremično položenih kablih in za zvijave vrvice, katerih naznačena napetost (po HD 193) ne presega zgornje meje napetostnega pasu II.
Ta HD se uporablja za:
‒   električne inštalacije,
‒   razdelilne sisteme,
‒   napajanje nepremično nameščenih ali prenosnih električnih porabnikov in
‒   vrvice prenosne opreme.
OPOMBA:    Za razdelilne sisteme se smejo uporabljati številčne oznake.

This Harmonization Document was prepared by SC 64B, Protection against thermal effects,
of Technical Committee CENELEC TC 64, Electrical installations of buildings.
The text of the draft was submitted to the formal vote and was approved by CENELEC as
HD 308 S2 on 2001-05-01.
This Harmonization Document supersedes HD 3 S2:1976 and HD 308 S1:1976.
The following dates were fixed:
- latest date by which the existence of the HD
has to be announced at national level (doa) 2001-10-01
- latest date by which the HD has to be implemented
at national level by publication of a harmonized
national standard or by endorsment (dop) 2002-05-01
- latest date by which the national standards conflicting
with the HD have to be withdrawn (dow) 2006-04-01

1 Scope
This Harmonization Document applies to the identification of cores of rigid and flexible cables
and cords for which the rated voltage does not exceed the upper limit of Voltage Band II

Vorwort
Dieses Harmonsierungsdokument wurde vom SC 64 B “Schutz gegen thermische Auswirkungen” des
Technischen Komitees CENELEC TC 64 “Elektrische Anlagen von Gebäuden” ausgearbeitet.
Der Text des Entwurfs wurde der formellen Abstimmung unterworfen und von CENELEC am 2001-05-01 als
HD 308 S2 angenommen.
Dieses Harmonisierungsdokument ersetzt HD 3 S2:1976 und HD 308 S1:1976.
Nachstehende Daten wurden festgelegt:
- spätestes Datum der Ankündigung des HDs auf (doa) 2001-10-01
nationaler Ebene
- spätestes Datum, zu dem das HD auf nationaler Ebene (dop) 2002-05-01
durch Veröffentlichung einer harmonisierten nationalen Norm
oder durch Anerkennung übernommen werden muss
- spätestes Datum, zu dem nationale Normen, die dem (dow) 2006-04-01
HD entgegenstehen, zurückgezogen werden müssen

1 Anwendungsbereich
Dieses Harmonisierungsdokument ist anzuwenden für die Kennzeichnung von Adern von Kabeln und
Leitungen für die feste Verlegung sowie für flexible Leitungen, für die die Bemessungsspannung nicht die
obere Grenze des Spannungsbandes II (nach HD 193) überschreitet.
Dieses HD wird angewendet für
- elektrische Anlagen,
- Verteilungssysteme,
- Versorgung von fest angebrachten oder ortsveränderlichen elektrischen Verbrauchsmitteln und
- für Leitungen von transportablen Betriebsmitteln.
ANMERKUNG Für Verteilungssysteme darf eine Kennzeichnung durch Zahlen verwendet werden.
Dieses HD ist nicht anzuwenden für
- Kabel/Leitungen oder isolierte Leiter für die innere Verdrahtung von elektrischen Verbrauchsmitteln oder
fabrikfertigen Kombinationen, die mit ihren Europäischen Normen übereinstimmen, oder
- Kabel und Leitungen für Gleichstromanwendungen oder
- Kabel und Leitungen mit mehr Adern als die in Tabelle 1 und Tabelle 2 angeführten Adern, oder
- Stromkreise, die für andere Verwendung als ausschließlich zur Versorgung von Betriebsmitteln
vorgesehen sind, oder
- umhüllte Freileitungen und isolierte Freileitungsseile nach HD 626.

NACIONALNI UVOD

Standard SIST HD 308 S2 (sl), Identifikacija žil v kablih in zvijavih vrvicah, 2002, ima status slovenskega
standarda in je istoveten evropskemu standardu HD 308 S2 (en), Identification of cores in cables and
flexible cords, 2001

NACIONALNI PREDGOVOR

Evropski standard HD 308 S2:2001 je pripravil tehnični odbor Evropske organizacije za standardizacijo
v elektrotehniki CLC/TC 64 Električne inštalacije in zaščita pred električnim udarom. Slovenski standard
SIST HD 308 S2:2002 je prevod evropskega standarda HD 308 S2:2001. V primeru spora glede
besedila slovenskega prevoda v tem standardu je odločilen izvirni evropski standard v angleškem jeziku.
Slovensko izdajo standarda je pripravil tehnični odbor SIST/TC ELI Nizkonapetostne in komunikacijske
električne inštalacije.

Odločitev za privzem tega standarda po metodi ponatisa je v juliju 2002 sprejel tehnični odbor SIST/TC
ELI.

ZVEZE S STANDARDI

S privzemom tega evropskega standarda veljajo za omejeni namen referenčnih standardov vsi
standardi, navedeni v izvirniku, razen tistih, ki so že sprejeti v nacionalno standardizacijo:
