The fittings described in this European Standard do not fulfil specific design requirements; consequently they cannot be considered as conforming to the Essential Requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive (Directive 97/23/EC of 29.05.1997).

Formstücke nach dieser Europäischen Norm erfüllen keine spezifischen Anforderungen an die Auslegung; man darf daher nicht davon ausgehen, daß sie die wesentlichen Sicherheitsanforderungen der Druckgeräterichtlinie (Richtlinie 97/23/EG vom 29.05.1997) erfüllt.
