Overview

EN 1175-3:1998/FprA1 (CEN) is the first amendment to EN 1175-3:1998 and updates the electrical safety requirements for the electric power transmission systems of internal combustion engine powered industrial trucks. This amendment (A1) clarifies normative references, introduces requirements for parameters and radiation, and aligns safety control references with newer ISO-based standards. It is intended to support conformity with the EU Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC) via informative Annex ZB.
