FprEN IEC 61547:2020/prAA is a CLC draft amendment to the European standard EN/IEC 61547 governing electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) immunity requirements for equipment for general lighting purposes. The amendment updates scope language, performance criteria and assessment notes, and provides alignment with related EN standards. It is intended to support conformity with EU Directive 2014/30/EU when adopted as a harmonised standard.

This document has been prepared under a Standardization Request given to CENELEC by the European

1 Modification to "Scope"
Delete paragraph 4, starting with “Lighting equipment with a wireless control …”.
2 Modification to subclause 4.1, "General"
Replace the second dashed item as follows:

Add the following notes at the end of “b) performance criterion B”:
"
