Hot rolled spring steel flat bars - Part 1: Flat bars - Dimensions and tolerances on shape and dimensions

This Part of this European Standard specifies the nominal dimensions and the tolerances on dimensions and shape of hot rolled steel flat bars for springs with three different types of profiles (A, B, and C). Formulas for calculation the moment of inertia are specified in annex A.
This standard is applicable only to spring steel flat bars produced from steel grades specified in EN 10089.

Dieser Teil dieser Europäischen Norm legt die Nennmaße, Grenzabmaße und Formtoleranzen warmgewalzter Flachstäbe aus Stahl für Federn in drei verschiedenen Profilarten (A, B und C) fest. Formeln für die Berechnung des Trägheitsmomentes sind in Anhang A enthalten.
Diese Norm gilt nur für Flachstäbe aus Federstahl, die aus den in EN 10089 festgelegten Stahlsorten hergestellt wurden.

La présente partie de la présente Norme européenne spécifie les dimensions nominales et les tolérances sur les dimensions et la forme de plats en acier laminés à chaud pour lames de ressorts pour trois types différents de profils (A, B, et C). Les formules pour calculer le moment d'inertie sont spécifiées dans l'Annexe A.
La présente norme s'applique uniquement aux plats en acier pour lames de ressorts produits à partir des nuances d'acier spécifiées dans l'EN 10089.

Overview

EN 10092-1:2003 (CEN) is the European standard that defines the nominal dimensions and tolerances on shape and dimensions for hot rolled spring steel flat bars. This Part 1 applies to flat bars intended for springs and covers three defined profile types: A, B and C. The standard also includes calculation formulas for the moment of inertia (Annex A) and is applicable only to spring steel flat bars manufactured from the steel grades given in EN 10089.
