Electromagnetic compatibility - Product family standard for lifts, escalators and passenger conveyors - Emission

This European Standard specifies the emission limits and test conditions for lifts, escalators and passenger conveyors, which are permanently installed in buildings and for which CEN/TC 10 has direct responsibility for the production of European Standards, in relation to electromagnetic interference. These limits however, may not provide full protection against disturbances caused to radio and TV reception when such equipment is used within distances given in table1.  Since lifts travel large vertical distances in buildings, it becomes impracticable to test the installation either in a test laboratory or in situ (where the uncontrolled environment can also influence the test procedures and results). Likewise, due to practical restrictions imposed by the lift car internal dimensions, it is impracticable to test the lift car from within. Similar considerations regarding dimensions apply equally to the testing of escalators and passenger conveyors. Therefore this standard applies to the sub-systems and/or apparatus of lifts, escalators and passenger conveyors, an assembly of which will comprise an installation, the boundaries of which are indicated by example in figures 2 and 3. However, this standard does not apply to lighting apparatus and other services already proven to be in conformity to the EMC Directive.  Equipment covered by this standard can also fall into the scope of EN 61000-3-2, EN 61000-3-3, IEC 1000-3-4 and IEC 1000-3-5 as appropriate.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Grenzwerte und Prüfverfahren für Aufzüge, Fahrtreppen und Fahrsteige , die dauerhaft in Gebäuden installiert sind und für die das CEN/TC 10 direkt für die Erstellung von Europäischen Normen verantwortlich ist, in Bezug auf die elektromagnetische Störaussendung fest. Diese Grenzwerte könnten jedoch keinen umfassenden Schutz gegen Störungen des Radio- und Fernsehempfangs bieten, wenn diese Einrichtungen in einem geringeren Abstand, als in Tabelle 1 angegeben, betrieben werden.

La présente norme européenne spécifie les limites d'émission et les conditions d'essai relatives aux interférences électromagnétiques pour les ascenseurs, escaliers mécaniques et trottoirs roulants qui sont installés de façon permanente dans des bâtiments et pour lesquels le CEN/TC10 a la responsabilité directe de l'établissement de normes européennes. Ces limites, cependant, pourraient ne pas assurer une protection totale contre les perturbations causées aux récepteurs de radio et de télévision lorsque de tels appareils sont utilisés en deçà des limites de distances dans le tableau 1.
