Ta del standarda EN 13523 opisuje postopek za določanje barvne stabilnosti organske prevleke na kovinski podlagi ob izpostavljenosti vlažni atmosferi, ki vsebuje žveplov dioksid. Ta metoda je bila zasnovana za pospešeno preskušanje oz. ocenjevanje barvne obstojnosti prevlečenih kovin, ki se navijajo, v atmosferi, ki vsebuje žveplov dioksid (običajno za industrijske atmosfere).
