This Part of this European Prestandard describes test methods for 'substitute tests' performed with volatile test media, iso-octane and 95 % v/v aqueous ethanol, for the determination of overall migration from plastics intended to come into contact with fatty foodstuffs at all temperatures and for any period of time. These test methods are suitable for plastics samples in a wide variety of forms.

Dieser Teil dieser Europäischen Vornorm beschreibt Prüfverfahren für 'Ersatzprüfungen' zur Bestimmung der Gesamtmigration aus Kunststoffen, die für den Kontakt mit fettigen Lebensmitteln bestimmt sind, für die Durchführung mit den flüchtigen Prüfmedien Isooctan und 95 % (v/v) wäßrigem Ethanol und für jede Temperatur und Zeitdauer. Diese Prüfverfahren sind für Kunststoffproben vielfältigster Form geeignet.

La présente partie de cette prénorme européenne décrit des méthodes d'essai pour les 'tests de substitution' réalisés a l'aide de liquides simulateurs volatils tels que l'iso-octane et l'éthanol a 95% (v/v) pour la détermination de la migration globale des matieres plastiques destinées au contact avec les denrées alimentaires gras, a toutes températures et pendant un laps de temps quelconque. Ces méthodes d'essai conviennent pour des échantillons de plastiques se présentant sous de multiples formes.
