Cathodic protection of steel in concrete
This European Standard specifies performance requirements for cathodic protection of steel in atmospherically exposed concrete, in both new and existing structures. It covers the atmospherically exposed parts of building and civil engineering structures, including normal reinforcement and prestressed reinforcement embedded in the concrete. It is applicable to uncoated steel reinforcement and to organic coated steel reinforcement.

Dieser Teil der Europäischen Norm legt die Anforderungen an den kathodischen Korrosionsschutz von Stahlbeton in der freien Atmosphäre sowohl in neuen als auch bereits vorhandenen Bauten fest. Sie umfaßt die der Atmosphäre ausgesetzten Teile von Gebäuden und Ingenieurbauten, einschließlich nicht vorgespannter und vorgespannter Bewehrung, die im Beton eingebettet ist. Sie ist anwendbar auf unbeschichteten Bewehrungsstahl und auf organisch beschichteten Bewehrungsstahl.
Protection cathodique de l'acier dans le béton
La présente norme européenne spécifie les exigences de performances pour la protection cathodique de l'acier dans le béton exposé a l'atmosphere, pour les structures nouvelles comme pour les structures existantes. Elle traite des parties exposées a l'atmosphere dans les bâtiments comme dans les ouvrages d'art, s'applique aussi bien aux armatures qu'aux précontraintes noyées dans le béton. Elle s'applique aux armatures en acier non revetu et aux armatures en acier recouvert par un revetement organique.
