Explosion prevention and protection in underground mines - Protective systems - Part 2: Passive water trough barriers

This standard specifies requirements for explosion barriers in mines which are used as protection devices to prevent flame transmission in mine galleries due to the presence of mine gas/air, coal dust/air, or hybrid mixtures. This standard specifies test methods to verify operation requirements and to determine safe limits of use. It covers both active and passive systems. The standard also covers design guidance for use of explosion barriers in mines, installation requirements and maintenance requirements.

Diese Norm legt die Anforderungen an konzentrierte passive Wassertrogsperren, aufgeteilte Wassertrogsperren und Wassertrog-Schnellsperren gegen die Ausbreitung von Explosionen in Strecken des Steinkohlenbergbaus fest, wenn der Schutz der Strecken durch Wassertrogsperren in nationalen Vorschriften gefordert ist. Wassertrogsperren haben die Aufgabe, in Strecken des Steinkohlenbergbaus Explosions-flammen zu löschen und damit die Ausbreitung von Explosionen zu begrenzen.
Diese Norm gilt nicht für aktive Wassertrogsperren.

La présente norme définit les exigences relatives aux arrêts-barrages à eau passifs concentrés, aux arrêts-barrages à eau répartis et aux arrêts-barrages à eau instantanés destinés à limiter la propagation des explosions dans les voies de mines de houille, lorsque la protection des voies par des arrêts-barrages à eau est exigée dans les réglementations nationales. L'objectif des arrêts-barrages à eau est d'éteindre les flammes d'explosion dans les voies des mines de houille et ainsi de limiter la propagation des explosions.
La présente norme ne s'applique pas aux arrêts-barrages à eau actifs.

-   functional description of the LNG unloading receptacle and LNG unloading nozzle;
-   technical layout description of the LNG unloading receptacle.
The technical layout description of the LNG unloading nozzle is not part of this document.
The basic functional requirement of the LNG unloading connector are as follows:
-   to prevent leakage of methane during operation and in particular during disconnecting;
-   easy handling, no spillage and purging with nitrogen during disconnecting.
The loading connector between the LNG road tanker and the LNG terminal is not covered by this document.
