Refrigerated storage cabinets and counters for professional use - Classification, requirements and test conditions

This European Standard specifies requirements for the construction, characteristics, performance including energy consumption of refrigerated storage cabinets and counters for professional use in commercial kitchens, hospitals, canteens, preparation areas of bars, bakeries, gelateria, institutional catering and similar professional areas.
The products covered in this European Standard are intended to store foodstuffs. It specifies test conditions and methods for checking that the requirements have been satisfied, as well as classification of the cabinets and counters, their marking and the list of their characteristics to be declared by the manufacturer.
It is not applicable to:
-   refrigerated cabinets used in the direct sale of foodstuffs;
-   cabinets that carry out food processing and not just storage function (e.g. bakery cabinets that chill, heat and humidity);
-   cabinets with water cooled condenser;
-   appliances with remote condensing unit;
-   appliances with open top tables and saladettes for preparation or storage of foodstuffs;
-   cabinet specifically intended for storage of specific foodstuffs (i.e. fresh meat, fresh fish, etc.) operating at a temperature different from those specified in Table 1;
-   chest freezers;
-   appliances intended for short time /intermittent normal operation during the full day;
-   built-in cabinet;
-   roll-in cabinet;
-   pass-through cabinet.

Servicekühltheken- und -tische für gewerbliche Küchen - Klassifikation, Anforderungen und Prüfbedingungen

Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen an die Konstruktion, Eigenschaften und Leistung, einschließlich Energieverbrauch, von professionellen Lagerkühlmöbeln und -theken für die Verwendung in gewerblichen Küchen, Krankenhäusern, Kantinen, Zubereitungsbereichen von Bars, Bäckereien, Eisdielen, Großküchen und ähnlichen gewerblichen Bereichen fest.
Die durch diese Europäische Norm abgedeckten Produkte sind für die Lagerung von Lebensmittel-erzeugnissen vorgesehen. In dieser Europäischen Norm werden Prüfbedingungen und Verfahren zur Überprüfung der Erfüllung der Anforderungen festgelegt sowie eine Klassifizierung der Möbel und Theken vorgenommen; darüber hinaus werden deren Markierungen sowie eine Auflistung der durch den Hersteller anzugebenden Eigenschaften aufgeführt.
Diese Norm ist nicht anwendbar auf
   Kühlmöbel für den Direktverkauf von Lebensmittelerzeugnissen;
   Möbel, die neben ihrer Lagerfunktion auch eine Verarbeitungsfunktion ausführen (z. B. kühlende, erhitzende und befeuchtende Vorrichtungen in Bäckereien);
   Möbel mit einem wassergekühlten Verflüssiger;
   Geräte mit getrennt aufgestelltem Verflüssigungssatz;
   Geräte mit Tischen mit offenem Aufsatz und Saladetten für die Zubereitung und Lagerung von Lebensmittelerzeugnissen;
   Möbel, die eigens zur Lagerung besonderer Lebensmittelerzeugnisse vorgesehen sind (d. h. frisches Fleisch, frischer Fisch usw.) und die unter anderen Temperaturen, als den in Tabelle 1 angegebenen, arbeiten;
   Tiefkühltruhen;
   Geräte, die den Tag über für einen kurzzeitigen/diskontinuierlichen Normalbetrieb vorgesehen sind;
   Einbaumöbel;
   Containerregale;
   Durchreichemöbel.

Armoires et comptoirs frigorifiques à usage professionnel - Classification, prescriptions et conditions d'essai

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences relatives à la construction, aux caractéristiques et aux performances, y compris la consommation d’énergie, des armoires et comptoirs de stockage frigorifiques destinés à un usage professionnel dans les cuisines professionnelles, les hôpitaux, les cafétérias, les zones de préparation des bars, les boulangeries, les magasins de vente de glaces, la restauration collective et d’autres secteurs professionnels similaires.
La présente Norme européenne s’applique aux produits conçus pour stocker des denrées alimentaires. Elle spécifie les conditions et les méthodes d’essai permettant de vérifier que les exigences ont été respectées, ainsi que la classification des armoires et des comptoirs, leur marquage et la liste des caractéristiques devant être déclarées par le fabricant.
Elle ne s’applique pas aux :
-   armoires frigorifiques utilisées pour la vente directe de denrées alimentaires ;
-   armoires utilisées pour la transformation alimentaire et pas uniquement pour la fonction de stockage (par exemple armoires de boulangerie assurant la réfrigération, le chauffage et l’humidification) ;
-   armoires à condenseur refroidi à l’eau ;
-   appareils avec groupe de condensation séparé ;
-   appareils à plateau supérieur ouvert et saladettes pour la préparation ou le stockage de denrées alimentaires ;
-   armoires spécifiquement destinées au stockage de denrées alimentaires particulières (c’est-à-dire viande fraîche, poisson frais, etc.) fonctionnant à une température différente de celles spécifiées dans le Tableau 1 ;
-   congélateurs bahuts ;
-   appareils conçus pour un fonctionnement normal de courte durée/intermittent pendant toute la journée ;
-   armoires encastrables ;
-   armoires à chariots ;
-   armoires traversantes.
