Smoke and heat control systems - Part 3: Specification for powered smoke and heat control ventilators (Fans)

This European Standard specifies requirements and gives methods for testing powered smoke and heat control ventilators that are intended to be installed as part of a powered smoke and heat control ventilation system. It also provides a procedure for approving a range of powered smoke and heat control ventilators and their motors, from a minimum number of tests.
Different types of fans are identified:
a)   series produced fans for smoke and heat control ventilation;
b)   impulse/jet fans for smoke and heat control ventilation;
c)   non-series produced fans for smoke and heat control ventilation.

a)   in Serie hergestellte Ventilatoren für den Rauch  und Wärmeabzug;
b)   Impuls /Strahlventilatoren für den Rauch  und Wärmeabzug;

a)   ventilateurs fabriqués en série pour les systèmes de ventilation pour le contrôle des fumées et de la chaleur ;
b)   ventilateurs à impulsions/à jet /destinés aux systèmes de ventilation pour le contrôle des fumées et de la chaleur ;

a) serijsko proizvedeni ventilatorji za nadzor dima in toplote;
b) impulzni/potisni ventilatorji za nadzor dima in toplote;
c) neserijsko proizvedeni ventilatorji za nadzor dima in toplote.
