ISO 22868:2011 specifies a noise test code for determining, efficiently and under standardized conditions, the noise emission characteristics of portable, hand‑held, combustion‑engine‑powered forestry and garden machines, including chain-saws, brush-cutters, grass-trimmers, pole-mounted powered pruners, hedge-trimmers and garden blowers/vacuums. Noise emission characteristics include the A‑weighted emission sound pressure level at the operator position and the A‑weighted sound power level.

Diese Internationale Norm legt ein Geräuschmessverfahren zur effizienten Ermittlung der Geräuschemissionsdaten
von tragbaren handgeführten forstwirtschaftlichen Maschinen und Gartengeräten mit Verbrennungsmotor
unter einheitlichen Bedingungen fest. Hierzu gehören Kettensägen, Freischneider, Grastrimmer, motorbetriebene
Hochentaster, Heckenscheren und Laubbläser/Sauger. Die zu ermittelnden Geräuschemissions-
Kennwerte sind der A-bewertete Emissions-Schalldruckpegel am Ort der Bedienungsperson und der
A-bewertete Schallleistungspegel.

L'ISO 22868:2011 spécifie un code d'essai acoustique pour déterminer, avec efficacité et dans des conditions normalisées, les caractéristiques acoustiques d'émission des machines forestières et des machines de jardin portatives tenues à la main à moteur à combustion interne, telles que les scies à chaîne, les débroussailleuses, les coupe-herbe, les perches élagueuses à moteur, les taille-haies et les souffleurs/aspirateurs de jardin. Les caractéristiques acoustiques d'émission comprennent le niveau de pression acoustique d'émission pondéré A au poste de travail et le niveau de puissance acoustique pondéré A.

Ta mednarodni standard opredeljuje standard za meritev hrupa za določevanje, učinkovito in pod standardiziranimi pogoji, značilnosti emisij hrupa prenosnih ročnih gozdarskih in vrtnarskih strojev z motorjem z notranjim izgorevanjem, vključno z verižnimi žagami, žagami za nego, motornimi kosami, motornimi žagami za obvejevanje z drogom, škarjami za živo mejo in vrtnimi pihalniki. This document (EN ISO 22868:2011) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 23 "Tractors and
machinery for agriculture and forestry" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 144 “Tractors and
machinery for agriculture and forestry” the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by September 2011, and conflicting national standards shall be
withdrawn at the latest by September 2011.
