This document is applicable to fluids under the HFDR category defined in ISO 6743-4 and under the TCD, TSD and TGD categories defined in ISO 6743-5.

They are suitable for use with: — oil-based hydraulic fluids HH, HL, HM, HR and HV as defined in ISO 6743-4 at temperatures ranging from −40 °C to +100 °C; — water-based fluids HFC, HFAE, HFAS and HFB as defined in ISO 6743-4 at temperatures ranging from 0 °C to +70 °C; — water at temperatures ranging from 0 °C to +70 °C. This document does not include requirements for end fittings. It is limited to requirements for hoses and hose assemblies. The hose assembly maximum working pressure is governed by the lowest maximum working pressure of the components. NOTE It is the responsibility of the user, in consultation with the hose manufacturer, to establish the compatibility of the hose with the fluid to be used.

This document provides information on how electrical designers determine the allowable limit of electric wire in space condition. This document provides the basis of the allowable wire current and its derated value in published technical standards. This document also provides the results of comparing the derated wire current values depending on the number of bundled wires, wire type and temperature environments, which can help the system designer to handle the difference when determining the limit of wire ampacity.

This document establishes requirements and recommendations for the design format and data content of a drone or UAS remote pilot and remote crew licence, encompassing both visual human-readable features and machine-readable technologies. By establishing a common basis, this document aims to standardize drone or UAS remote pilot and remote crew licence without impeding the efforts of individual national or regional drone or UAS-related authorities. NOTE Not all jurisdictions require drone or UAS remote pilot and remote crew licences.

It is applicable to the domains of technology that carry more applicational relevance than some theoretical issues found in the ordinary use of language. NOTE ISO 24617-12 deals with more general and theoretical issues of quantification and quantitative information. This document also treats temporal durations that are discussed in ISO 24617-1, and spatial measures such as distances that are treated in ISO 24617-7, while making them interoperable with other measure types. It also accommodates the treatment of measures or amounts that are introduced in ISO 24617-6:2016, 8.3.

This document specifies design and performance criteria arising out of the combination of a reciprocating internal combustion (RIC) engine and an alternating current (AC) generator when operating as a unit. This unit can run in parallel to the grid or not. This document applies to AC generating sets driven by RIC engines for land and marine use, excluding generating sets used on aircraft, or to propel land vehicles and locomotives. For some specific applications (e.g. essential hospital supplies and high-rise buildings), supplementary requirements can apply. The provisions of this document are a basis for establishing any supplementary requirements. For generating sets driven by other reciprocating-type prime movers (e.g. steam engines), the provisions of this document can be used as a basis for establishing these requirements.

This document provides requirements for the design, manufacturing, and layout of onshore and offshore pig traps allowing entry to a pipeline for the launching and receiving of pigs, inspection tools and other equipment to be run through a pipeline, together with the associated pipework, valves and instrumentation. This document does not apply to installations for automatic launchers or to self-contained pigging valves. This document does not apply to temporary pig traps used only for construction phase.

This document specifies the minimum values for expected strength as a function of time and temperature in the form of reference lines, for use in calculations on unplasticized polyamide (PA-U 180) extruded pipes. NOTE 1 PA-U 180 follows ISO 16486-1 in terms of minimum strength values and covers both PA-U11 180 and PA-U12 180. This document specifies the LIN protocol conformance test. This test verifies the conformance of LIN communication controllers with respect to ISO 17987-2 and ISO 17987-3. This document provides all necessary technical information to ensure that test results are identical even on different test systems, provided that the particular test suite and the test system are compliant to the content of this document. Annex A, Annex B and Annex C specify the protocol conformance test plans for responder nodes supporting auto addressing procedures according procedure C, procedure D or procedure E, see ISO 17987-3:2025, Annex C.

This document specifies two accelerated corrosion test methods. These methods assess the corrosion resistance of products containing copper in environments where there is a significant influence of chloride ions, mainly as sodium chloride from a marine source or winter road de-icing salt, as well as the influence of corrosion-promoting gases from industrial or traffic air pollution. This document specifies fundamental requirements for uncut finished spectacle lenses. This document is not applicable to protective spectacle lenses. This document takes precedence over the corresponding requirements of other standards, if differences exist.

This document provides guidance for achieving and demonstrating safety of an automated driving system (ADS) integrated in a road vehicle. The approach is based on safety principles derived from worldwide applicable publications and top-level safety objectives. It considers safety by design, verification and validation, and post deployment activities for level 3 and level 4 ADS features defined according to ISO/SAE PAS 22736[2]. In addition, it outlines cybersecurity considerations. The application of this document is intended for road vehicles, including trucks and buses and excluding motorcycles and mopeds. Any ADS or related elements that are in operation, or under development, prior to the publication of this document are exempted from the application of this document. NOTE While not covered in this document, safety during development activities is a key consideration. Development includes activities of design, verification and validation.

This document provides a methodology for calculating the carbon balance of (a) forest management unit(s) (FMU). This quantification methodology is intended to demonstrate to what extent carbon pools in the FMU represent a net greenhouse gas sink or a net greenhouse gas source. This document provides information that can be used on organizational or aggregated product levels. This calculation methodology considers: — the geographical scale of the FMU; — forest management practices; — land ownership arrangements; — time periods; — the use of forest inventory data and other data sources for determining the forest carbon balance; and — allocation of forest carbon balance to wood that has been sourced in FMU(s). Greenhouse gas emissions from fossil fuels or industrial processes related to forestry operations (e.g. production and distribution of fertilizers, fuels for machinery) are not included in this document. NOTE 1 Greenhouse gas emissions related to forestry operations are covered in ISO 13391-1. The quantity of wood entering the harvested wood products carbon pool is not included in this document. NOTE 2 Material entering the harvested wood products carbon pool is calculated in ISO 13391-1. This document specifies the acceptance test requirements, test conditions, test contents and methods, test reports and other requirements for the jacking system of the self-elevating unit. This document is applicable to the acceptance test of the rack and pinion jacking system and the hydraulic yoke and pin jacking system supporting the self-elevating unit. This document can also apply to the acceptance tests of other types of jacking systems.

This document defines the requirements for the symbology known as Data Matrix Rectangular Extension (DMRE). This document specifies the DMRE code symbology characteristics, data character encodation, symbol formats, dimensions and print quality requirements, error correction rules, decoding algorithm, and user-selectable application parameters. This document applies to all DMRE code symbols produced by any printing or marking technology. This document establishes minimum quality requirements for durability of written line with marking pens for documentary use.

This document specifies the general requirements and tests for decomposition blockers downstream of pressure regulators in acetylene manifold systems (see ISO 14114). Decomposition blockers can be used in the low-pressure section (downstream of acetylene manifold system outlet) up to 0,15 MPa (1,5 bar) e.g. in pipelines, outlet points or for the protection of low-pressure sections in big pipe systems. Decomposition blockers can only be used in sections with pure acetylene. The possible backflow of oxygen or air into the section where the decomposition blocker is installed needs to be prevented by a non-return valve downstream of the decomposition blocker.

This document specifies the minimum design and performance requirements for clothing as part of personal protective equipment (PPE) to be used by firefighters, primarily but not solely to protect against exposure to flame and high thermal loads, and particulates (including other products of combustion). To assist with choice based on user risk assessment, a single level of heat and flame protection is included with a number of options that can provide additional protection. For more information on firefighter risk assessment consult ISO/TR 21808. The scope of this document does not include clothing for use in high-risk fire exposures where for example, reflective protective clothing according to ISO 15538 could be more appropriate, or for use in long-term firefighting operations in high ambient temperature, for example bush, wildland, or forest firefighting where clothing according to ISO 15384 (ISO 16073-3) could be more appropriate. Similarly, this document does not include clothing to protect against chemical and biological hazards, other than against short-term and accidental exposure while engaged in firefighting and associated activities when fighting fires occurring in structures. This document describes types, design, and performance of clothing, the specific requirements for clothing, marking, and manufacturer’s instructions.

This document provides specifications for common communications and data exchange aspects of the TPM application service that a jurisdiction regulator or operator can elect to require or support as an option, including: a) a high-level definition of the service that a service provider has to provide [the service definition describes common service elements (SEs), but does not specify the detail of how such an application service is instantiated, nor the acceptable value ranges of the data concepts defined]; b) the means to realize the service; c) application data naming, content and quality that an in-vehicle system (IVS) has to deliver, including a number of TPM profiles or data (noting that requirements and constraints of what can/cannot be transmitted over the air can vary between jurisdictions); d) support for a number of defined communication profiles to enable remote inspection. This document specifies graphical symbols for diagrams related to industrial components, products and processing. This document constitutes a symbol library, from which users can use the symbols or created symbol examples for use in diagrams (see Tables 1 to 149). General rules and guidance for the preparation and presentation of graphical symbols are given in ISO 14617-1. Application rules for the symbols are shown in normative Annex A. This document does not apply to: — graphical symbols for fluid power objects, see ISO 1219-1 (the collective application standard of the ISO 14617 series); — symbols of measurement and control functions such as mathematical functions and process functions; — graphical symbols for electrotechnical objects, see the IEC 60617 database. Symbols deleted from the previous edition of the ISO 14617 series are summarized in informative Annex B as a reference. The alphabetic index of symbols defined in this document is shown in informative Annex C.

This document specifies the framework, concepts, methodology for testing, and criteria to be achieved to claim conformance to multiple parts of the ISO/IEC 21122 series. It lists the conformance testing procedures.

This document specifies the general principles of a method for determining the dynamic rheological properties of polymer melts at angular frequencies typically in the range of 0,01 rad s-1 to 100 rad s-1 by means of an oscillatory rheometer with a parallel-plate or a cone-and-plate geometry. Angular frequencies outside this range can also be used. The method is applicable for determining values of the following dynamic rheological properties: complex shear viscosity η*, dynamic shear viscosity η', the out-of-phase component of the complex shear viscosity η”, complex shear modulus G*, shear loss modulus G”, shear storage modulus G', phase angle δ, and loss factor tanδ. It is suitable for measuring complex shear viscosity values typically up to ~10 MPa s. NOTE The shear loss modulus G´´ is sometimes also called viscous shear modulus and the shear storage modulus G´ is sometimes also called elastic shear modulus.

This document defines test methods for performance testing of individual filter elements and of the complete filtration system.1) This procedure is intended for filter elements and filter systems which operate at flow rated up to 8 000 m3/h per filter element. 1) The filters will be loaded with ultra-fine salt particles of a size mostly sub micron during variable humidity to simulate real offshore and coastal conditions hence filters with an initial conditioned efficiency lower than 50 % for the ePM1 particles (filter class T7) are likely to underperform and would not be suited as a single stage filter.

This document specifies three methods for the determination of the ash of poly(vinyl chloride). The general procedures given in ISO 3451-1 are followed. For ash, method A is used. For sulfated ash, methods B and C are used. All three methods are applicable to resins, compounds and finished products. Methods B and C are applicable when lead-containing compounds are present.

This document defines, extending the requirements of ISO 14300-1, the principles and requirements for integrated risk management on a space project. It explains what is needed to implement a project-integrated risk management policy by any project actor, at any level (i.e. customer, first-level supplier or lower-level suppliers). This document contains a summary of the general risk management process, which is subdivided into four basic steps and nine tasks. This document is applicable to all the space project phases, as defined in ISO 14300-1.
