This document specifies rules for indicating the tolerance for surface form deviation, in the ISO 10110 series, which standardizes drawing indications for optical elements and systems. NOTE The terminology of interferometry employing the unit “fringe spacings” is widely used for the specification of tolerances. However, the usage of non-interferometric methods for testing of optical parts has recently become more important. Therefore, unlike in the earlier versions of this document, nanometres are now the preferred and standard unit to express surface form deviations. The usage of fringe spacings is still permitted, provided that the base wavelength is explicitly stated. This document applies to surfaces of plano, spherical, aspheric, cylindric, and toric form as well as to surfaces of other non-spherical shape such as generally described surfaces. It also applies to the substrates of diffractive surfaces; for transmitted or reflected wavefront specifications see ISO 10110-16 and ISO 10110-14.

This document provides test methods and test requirements for design either qualification or acceptance, or both of small spacecraft or units. It provides the minimum test requirements and test methods to qualify the design and manufacturing methods of commercial small spacecraft and their units and to accept the final products. This document is applicable to satellites whose development methods are different from the ones used for traditional satellites that have little room for risk tolerance. The scope of this document encompasses different categories of small spacecraft, so-called mini-, micro-, nano-, pico- and femto spacecraft. This document includes CubeSat, as long as it is developed with the untraditional processes. This document specifies processes for the management and operation of data centres. The primary focus of this document is the processes necessary to deliver the expected level of resilience, availability, risk management, risk mitigation, capacity planning, security and resource and energy efficiency.

This document specifies the digital measurement method for the determination of the anti-contamination of fabrics. This method is applicable to woven fabrics which have or have not been given an anti-contamination to particulate matter finish. It is especially suitable for measuring apparel fabrics. It is not intended for use in fabrics that react to UV light or allow particulate matter to penetrate into the structure of the fabric. It is not applied to fabrics for personal protective equipment. NOTE 1 Particulate matter (PM) is solid particles suspended in ambient air defined in ISO 16890-1. NOTE 2 In woven fabrics, particulate matter (PM) adheres to the fabric surface due to electrostatic or surface properties. In knitted and nonwoven fabrics, PM penetrates into the fabric structure, following a different mechanism. The conditions and procedures outlined in this test method are designed to ensure reproducibility and precision specifically when applied to woven fabrics.

This document, published jointly by IEC and ISO, provides, in combination with IEC 81346‑1 and IEC 81346‑2, rules and recommendations on the structuring of systems and the information on systems of manufacturing systems. It also provides additional classification schemes to those of IEC 81346‑2 for use in reference designations within manufacturing systems. It is published as a double logo standard. This document specifies a semantic data model of the core elements of an Electronic invoice. The semantic data model includes only the essential information elements that an Electronic invoice needs to ensure legal (including fiscal) compliance and to enable interoperability for cross-border, cross sector and domestic trade. The semantic data model can be applied by organizations in the private and the public sector for public procurement invoicing. It can also be used for invoicing between private sector enterprises. It has not been specifically designed for invoicing consumers.

— it is technologically neutral;
— it is compatible with relevant international standards on electronic invoicing;

This document specifies methods for the measurement of the thermal resistance and water-vapour resistance , under steady-state conditions, of e.g. fabrics, films, coatings, foams and leather, including multilayer assemblies, for use in clothing, quilts, sleeping bags, upholstery and similar textile or textile-like products. The application of this measurement technique is restricted to a maximum thermal resistance and water-vapour resistance which depend on the dimensions and construction of the apparatus used (e.g. 2 m2·K/W and 700 m2·Pa/W respectively, for the minimum specifications of the equipment referred to in this document). The test conditions used in this document are not intended to represent specific comfort situations, and performance specifications in relation to physiological comfort are not stated.

This document specifies fundamental concepts of the reference model for textual documents and provides guidance to support long-term preservation from the perspectives of its five layers. It defines: the layers that constitute the reference model for textual documents; the types of elements incorporated within textual documents; property types associated with textual documents; classifications of properties by type; and properties inherent to textual documents relevant to long-term preservation. This document does not cover: specific technical methods for checking whether the properties exist within a specific textual document; specific technical methods for analysing particular textual document format (e.g. DOC, DOCX, ODT, TXT, PDF); specific metadata items for the long-term preservation of textual documents; processes, procedures, or management practices related to long-term preservation or records management.

This document specifies test methods for fitting assemblies used in aircraft fluid systems in the pressure and temperature ranges covered by pressure from classes B, to K, and temperature types I, II and III of ISO 6771. This document applies each time that it is referred to in a procurement specification or other definition document which contains the pass and fail criteria for these tests.

The present document defines specific QCStatement for the qcStatements extension as defined in IETF RFC 3739 [2], clause 3.2.6, including requirements for their use in EU qualified certificates. Some of these QCStatements can be used for other forms of certificate. The QCStatements defined in the present document can be used in combination with any certificate profile, either defined in ETSI EN 319 412-2 [i.2], ETSI EN 319 412-3 [i.5] and ETSI EN 319 412-4 [i.6], or defined elsewhere. This document specifies a method of preparing a ground sample of spice or condiment for analysis, from a laboratory sample obtained by the method specified in ISO 948.
This document is applicable to the majority of spices and condiments. However, in view of the large number and diversity of spices and condiments, it can be necessary in certain special cases, for example, considerable hardness, or high moisture, volatile oil or fat content, to use a modified procedure or to choose another more
suitable method. Any such modified procedure or alternative method will be indicated in the International Standard appropriate to the spice or condiment concerned.

IEC 62820-1-1 specifies the technical requirements for the composition, functions, performance, and test methods of general building intercom systems.
This document is applicable to the general intercom systems for building entry in residential or commercial buildings.
Door-Entry-System (DES) is a simple kind of convenient Building-Intercom-System (BIS) mainly for user’s comfort. This document has classified the general building intercom systems into two grades in IEC 62820-1-1. Grade 1 adopts lower requirements to cover DES not used for relevant security applications while grade 2 adopts higher requirements for building intercom systems for security applications. Each grade can adopt different functional and performance requirements, test methods and normative references.
NOTE The different requirements between grade 1 and grade 2 are summarized in Table C.1 of Annex C.

This document specifies general methods, with suitable test conditions, for the determination of the ash of a range of plastics. The particular conditions chosen can be included in the specifications for the plastic material in question. Particular conditions applicable to poly(alkylene terephthalate) materials, unplasticized cellulose acetate, polyamides and poly(vinyl chloride) plastics, including some specific filled, glass-fibre-reinforced and flame-retarded materials, are specified in ISO 3451-2, ISO 3451-3, ISO 3451-4 and ISO 3451-5.

This document provides a workflow comprising experimental procedures and flaw detection algorithms aimed at locating flaws in parts produced during the powder bed fusion-laser-based (PBF-LB) process of metals. It emphasizes the use of coaxial photodiode-based in-situ monitoring and statistical and clustering machine learning algorithms, particularly for detecting lack of fusion-induced flaws. The workflow delineates setting thresholds for statistical detection and determining the number of clusters for machine learning algorithms, utilizing intentional seeded flaws in parts. Validation procedures are provided through computed tomography scanner data. Hardware limitations and considerations for multi-laser processes are addressed, with attention to potential issues.

This document gives guidance and requirements for the assessment of conformity of formulations, products and assemblies in accordance with EN 1329-1:2026 intended to be included in the manufacturer’s quality plan as part of the quality management system and for the establishment of certification procedures.

IEC 61375-1:2026 applies to the architecture of data communication systems in open trains, i.e. it covers the architecture of a communication system for the data communication between vehicles of the said open trains, the data communication within the vehicles and the data communication from train to the ground. The applicability of IEC 61375-1 to the train network technologies allows for interoperability of individual vehicles within open trains in international traffic. The data communication systems inside vehicles are given as recommended solutions to cope with the said TCN. In any case, proof of compatibility between a proposed train backbone and a proposed consist network will have to be brought by the supplier. IEC 61375-1 might be additionally applicable to closed trains and multiple unit trains when so agreed between purchaser and supplier. This fourth edition cancels and replaces the third edition published in 2012. This edition constitutes a technical revision.

a) Extension of train backbone topologies: aggregated and segregated topology;
b) Added independent consist orientation check with segregated train backbone topology;

This document specifies methods for the determination of seam maximum force of sewn seams when the force is applied perpendicularly to the seam. It describes the method known as the grab test.
The method defined in this document is applicable to woven textile fabrics, including fabrics which exhibit stretch characteristics imparted by the presence of an elastomeric fibre, mechanical or chemical treatment. It can be applicable to fabrics produced by other techniques. It is normally not applicable to geotextiles, nonwovens, coated fabrics, textile-glass woven fabrics and fabrics made from carbon fibres or polyolefin tape yarns.[2], [3], [4]
This method is applicable to straight seams only (obtained from previously sewn articles or prepared from fabric samples) and not to curved seams (see Annex B for considerations on seams).
The method is restricted to the use of constant-rate-of-extension (CRE) testing machines.

This document specifies a method for the determination of di-tert-butyl peroxide (DTBP) and 2, 5-Dimethyl-2, 5-di (tert-butylperoxy) hexane (DBPH) in plastics by using gas chromatography. This document is applicable to the determination of the content of residual peroxides in plastics and their products, which use peroxides as a degradation agent or crosslinking agent during plastics processing, or as an additive during polymerization, thereby remaining in degraded polypropylene, crosslinked polyethylene, polystyrene and other plastics. NOTE The applicability of this method to other peroxides is possible when the method is validated for each case.

This document specifies the requirements for solid wall pipes with smooth internal and external surfaces, extruded from the same formulation throughout the wall, fittings and the piping system of unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-U) intended for soil and waste discharge applications (low and high temperature)
-   above ground inside the building, or outside buildings fixed onto the wall; which is reflected in the marking by “B”;
-   for both inside buildings and buried in ground within the building structure, which is reflected in the marking by “BD”. This intended use is only applicable for components with nominal outside diameters equal to or greater than 75 mm.
NOTE 1   Multilayer pipes with different formulations throughout the wall and foamed core pipes are covered by EN 1453-1[1].
PVC-U pipes, fittings and the system complying with this document are also suitable for the following purposes:
-   ventilating part of the pipework in association with discharge applications;
-   rainwater pipework within the building structure.
This document covers a range of nominal sizes, a range of pipes and fittings series and gives recommendations concerning colours.
Pipes, fittings and other components conforming to any of the plastics product standards listed in Annex B can be used with pipes and fittings conforming to this document, provided they conform to the requirements for joint dimensions given in Clause 7 and to the requirements of Table 26.
NOTE 2   EN 476[2] specifies the general requirements for components used in discharge pipes, drains and sewers for gravity systems. Pipes and fittings conforming to EN 1329-1 fully meet the EN 476 requirements.

IEC 62196-2:2025 applies to EV plugs, EV socket-outlets, vehicle connectors and vehicle inlets with pins and contact-tubes of standardized configurations, herein referred to as "accessories". IEC 60669-2-4:2024 applies to manually operated general purpose isolating switches with a rated voltage not exceeding 440 V and a rated current not exceeding 125 A, intended for household and similar fixed electrical installations, either indoors or outdoors. This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition published in 2004. This edition constitutes a technical revision. This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition:
a) revision of the present edition with reference to the published IEC 60669-1:2017 Edition 4 with its amendments and references to clauses and tables;
b) introducing the values for isolating switches with ratings from 6 A to 13 A;

This document specifies physical medium attachment (PMA) sublayers for the controller area network (CAN). This includes the high-speed (HS) PMA without and with low-power mode capability, without and with selective wake-up functionality. Additionally, this document specifies PMAs supporting the signal improvement capability (SIC) mode and the FAST mode in Annex A. The physical medium dependent (PMD) sublayer is not in the scope of this document.

This document specifies requirements for the respiratory tubing and connectors used to convey respirable gases to a patient in the healthcare and homecare environments and provide a safe connection between the gas supply device and the patient interface. Respiratory tubing and connectors are mainly used for delivery of oxygen but can also be used for respirable air or oxygen/air mixtures and breathable medicinal gas mixtures such as oxygen/nitrous oxide or oxygen/helium mixtures. This document applies to portable residual current devices (PRCDs) for household and similar uses, consisting of a plug, a residual current device (RCD) and one or more socket-outlets or a provision for connection. They do not incorporate overcurrent protection. They are intended for single- and two-phase systems for rated currents not exceeding 16 A for rated voltages not exceeding 250 V AC. They are intended to provide protection against shock hazard in case of direct contact, in addition to the protection provided by the fixed installations for the circuit downstream. PRCDs have a rated residual operating current not exceeding 0,03 A. The plug and socket-outlet parts of a PRCD are covered by the national standard of the country where the PRCD is placed on the market. This document applies to portable devices performing simultaneously the functions of detection of the residual current, of comparison of the value of this current with the residual operating value and of opening of the protected circuit when the residual current exceeds this value. PRCDs providing an additional function of detecting faults on the supply side with a defined behaviour in case of supply failures or miswiring (PRCD-S) are also covered by this document. PRCDs are not intended to be used as parts of fixed installations. Their connecting means can be plugs, socket-outlets, terminals or cords. NOTE 1 The requirements for PRCDs are in compliance with the general requirements of IEC 60755. PRCDs are essentially intended to be operated by ordinary persons and designed not to require maintenance. NOTE 2 An integral fuse is used, if necessary, for the relevant plug and socket-outlet system. The switching contacts of the PRCDs are not intended to provide isolation, as isolation can be ensured by disconnecting the plug. The requirements of this document apply for environmental conditions as defined in 7.1. Additional requirements can be necessary for PRCDs used in locations having more severe environmental conditions. PRCDs including batteries are not covered by this document. This document does not contain additional requirements for PRCDs without earthing contacts for which specific requirements can apply. This document can, however, be used as a guide for such devices which are intended to be used with Class II appliances only.

This document specifies a procedure to determine the release of metals from metallic materials used in products intended to come into contact with drinking water.
The test can be used for three purposes:
a)   To assess a material as a reference material for a new category of materials by metal release testing using the results of several investigations in different waters covering a broad range of water compositions;
b)   To assess a material for an existing category for approval by way of metal release testing using the water defined in part 2, which exhibited the highest metal release when the reference material of the category was tested;
c)   To obtain data on the interaction of local water with a material.

This document specifies the requirements and methods for the clinical investigation of medical electrical (ME) equipment used to measure the body temperature in indirect measurement mode. This document covers both intermittently and continuously measuring clinical thermometers. This document is applicable to calcium carbonate used for treatment of water intended for human consumption. It describes the characteristics of calcium carbonate and specifies the requirements and the corresponding test methods for calcium carbonate. It gives information on its use in water treatment.

This document specifies a test method for the verification of the resistance to water of explosives for blasting and boosters.
NOTE   This test method applies to situations where an explosive for blasting or a booster is subjected to high humidity and contact with water.

This document defines Product Category Rules (PCR) providing guidelines and rules for developing a type III environmental declaration (as in EN 15804:2012+A2:2019) for ceramic tiles produced by extrusion and dry-pressing techniques, mainly used for internal and/or external floorings and walls coverings, facade cladding.
The c-PCR:
-   define the indicators to be declared, information to be provided and the way in which they are collated and reported;
-   describe which stages of ceramic tiles’ life cycle are considered in the EPD and which processes are to be included in the life cycle stages;
-   define rules for the development of scenarios;
-   include the rules for calculating the Life Cycle Inventory and the Life Cycle Impact Assessment underlying the EPD, including the specification of the data quality to be applied;
-   include the rules for reporting predetermined, environmental and health information, that is not covered by LCA for a ceramic tile, construction process and construction service where necessary;
-   define the conditions under which ceramic tiles can be compared based on the information provided by EPD;
-   include Annex A to Annex E in alignment to EN 15804:2012+A2:2019.
This PCR is intended to be used for cradle to grave and module D assessment.

IEC TS 60034-27-6:2026 which is a Technical Specification, deals with the on-line electrical detection and monitoring of partial discharges on both motors and generators whose rotor windings or stator windings, or both, are supplied from converters. The tests are applicable to both type I and type II insulation systems, encompassing AC windings rated 300 V and above.
Details of non-electrical methods such as optical or acoustic detection are not included. The on-line measurement of PD where the winding is supplied via slip rings are also not covered.

IEC 60794-1-117:2026 defines the test procedures used to establish uniform requirements for bending stiffness performance. It applies to optical fibre cables for use with telecommunication equipment and devices employing similar techniques, and to cables having a combination of both optical fibres and electrical conductors.
